After the Brit Awards of last night, I definitely love these guys. The band won an award for Best British Group and that was more than deserved. I really love folk music_ and the particularity of Mumford & Sons is that all band members variously play guitar, drums, keyboard instruments, bass guitar, and traditional folk instruments such as banjo, mandolin,and resonator guitar.
Plus they were increasing their visibility in West London and together with other bands, gave rise to the label “West London folk scene”. Marcus Mumford said:
Someone got over-excited about a few bands who live in a hundred-mile radius and put it in a box to sell it as a package. It’s a community, not a scene. It’s not exclusive_

Basically according this project called “La Blogotèque” some of the most talented music bands of the last 10 years play live around the world in a really unique, rare and intimate session! The beautiful mind behind this show is Vincent Moon, an independent filmmaker from Paris who came to be known for his field work music videos of indie rock related musicians as well as some notable mainstream artists.
